Frequently Asked Questions

How We Grade Our Books

Paper Backs (PB)
A	Basically unread, no stamps or writing on or in the book.
B	May have slight creasing on spine. May have a store stamp or minor writing ( i.e. – owners name or initials ) in or on the book.
C	Definite spine creasing, covers may also have minor crease. May have store stamp or some minor writing in or on the book.
D	Considered readers copy only! Cover in bad shape, may have underlining through out the book.

Hard Backs (HB)
Note: There are many factors involved in grading HB books, anything specific from the norm are detailed within each books description.
F	Fine condition, Basically unread.
NF	Near fine condition, Basically unread with some minor defect.
VG	Very good condition, may have some page discoloring due to age or minor staining on cover. May have store stamp or small amount of writing in the book (i.e. – owners initials or name).
G	Good condition, may have same defects as VG plus other defects as well.
A single letter for a books grade indicates that the grade is for the book and that there is no dust jacket. A grade such as NF/VG indicates that there is a dust jacket that is in very good condition and that the book is in near fine condition.
